Marking Ranges That Actually Matter
Not every congestion zone deserves a box. Here is how we teach participants to choose levels worth defending.
Breakout work collapses when every minor pause gets a rectangle. We ask students to count touches, measure time spent inside, and check whether adjacent swings respect the same shelf. A range with two soft touches and no reaction is decoration, not structure.
During Breakout Foundation Studio we draw fewer boxes on purpose. One well-chosen shelf teaches more than a screen full of lines. When expansion finally arrives, you already know which edge was supposed to matter.
If you struggle to choose, start with the prior session’s high and low only. Add an interior shelf only after price has reacted from it twice with visible rejection. That discipline keeps breakout scans honest.
